Archive and Library Services

The Museum guarantees free consultation of the archival, photographic and bibliographic heritage it preserves. The Archives and Library are located in a building adjacent to the Museum, in via della Terra n. 48. To access it, you must to arrange an appointment with the archivist. Consultations are governed by current regulations for archival assets and by internal regulations, which can be viewed on this page.

How to access

Entrance to the Archives and Library is allowed only by appointment.

Consultation and reproductions

It is possible to make photocopies or digital reproductions of documents and photographs. Reproductions are allowed only for materials in a good state of conservation and at the discretion of the archivist, based on the physical state of preservation.

Consultation

The Museum offers, by appointment, archival and bibliographic consultation and support for research, university theses and publications.
