ON FOOT: from the train station follow Corso Rosmini until the square named Piazza Rosmini, then take via Orefici, continue along via Rialto, then via della Terra and go up via Castelbarco (10 minutes); otherwise, from Piazza Podestà follow via della Terra and then via Castelbarco (3 minutes).

BY CAR: from the A22 Brennero motorway exit Rovereto North or Rovereto South, follow signs for the “centro storico” (historical centre); a few minutes from the Castle there are various pay car parks, both covered (in via Lungo Leno Sinistro, in viale dei Colli, in via Manzoni) and uncovered (piazzale Achille Leoni). Info on parking can be found on the Società Multiservizi di Rovereto website. The Museum entrance is in via delle Fosse, where there are some pay car parks.

BY BUS: in Piazza Podestà parking is allowed only for loading and unloading. Coach stops are located in piazzale Achille Leoni and at the Quercia Stadium.
Coaches over 3.8 metres high may not access Piazza Podestà.

BY BIKE: along the Valle dell’Adige Sud cycle path, exit in the direction of Rovereto centre in the Borgo Sacco area and follow the path to the Ponte Forbato (bridge over the Leno stream) and turn right to reach Piazza del Podestà, where there are bike racks. From the square, the Castle can be reached on foot in 2 minutes.
